Performance
There are two available NX Hybrid powertrains:
- Standard 2.5-liter I4 hybrid engine (240 total horsepower)
- Available 2.5-liter I4 plug-in hybrid engine (304 total horsepower)
The regular hybrid powertrain produces an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 41 miles per gallon in the city, 37 miles per gallon on the highway, and 39 miles per gallon combined. The plug-in hybrid powertrain boasts a fuel economy of 84 miles per gallon equivalent, and can drive up to 37 miles using only electric power.
Every NX Hybrid powertrain includes an electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission with paddle shifters. All-wheel drive comes standard as well.
